Translator Training Programme

The only school in Greece that specialises solely in translator training. One year intensive Translator Training Programme in three language combinations. The aim of the course is to train students in the craft of translation and to bring them to a high standard of linguistic competence both in English and Greek. Students get practice in selected specialised areas of translation and they are introduced to current theories of translation with particular attention given to translation methods and procedures. The course is also offered by distance learning.

The school offers a wide range of professional seminars designed to offer students the practical and theoretical skills they need for their entrance in the translation market: Literary Translation, Children's Literature Translation, Medical Translation, Legal Translation, Technical Translation, SDL Trados Professional 2015 training, Subtitling, Interpreting, Editing and Proofreading etc.

Different Seminars, also in literary translation and translation of child literature. Master Programmes in collaboration with: University of Surrey for MA in Translation or MA in Business Translation with Interpreting. University College London for MSc in Scientific, Technical and Medical Translation with Translation Technology or MΑ Translation Theory and Practice. University of Birmingham for MA Translation Studies.
