Course details

Stockholm University has the only institute for interpreting and translation studies in Sweden – at the other universities the translators’ programs are administered by language departments. In Stockholm, the teaching of literary translation is held at the bachelor’s level in one short course. Due to its being open to all language combinations (however, Swedish has to be a source or target language), the course has many students. A longer course is planned to start at Stockholm University, combining literary translation with editing.
